What About Alkaline Water

F4QSD64YTPHZ
There is a lot of controversy on the net if one can benefit or not from drinking alkaline water.

What is alkaline water anyway? I don't want to bore you with all chemistry and in depth technology of obtaining alkaline water. Alkaline water is drinkable water that has a PH value higher than 7.5 How good is it for you? I am convinced that almost anyone can benefit in some way or another from drinking alkaline water. Me and my family drink alkaline water for almost a month now and I can tell you that made a positive difference in our life. My daughter and her mother lost some weight, I regain my energy and good spirit that I lost since I am taking a lot of medication to control my high blood pressure and cholesterol. So for us having this kind of water available in our home is a total blessing. I do highly recommend to anyone.

If you choose to start using alkaline water, you should do your search on available technologies. They are expensive but it saves lots of money and not only that, you will do your part in minimizing the impact on our environment. Let's make some assumption: A typical family of three uses about 5 gal of water per week for cooking and drinking home. Further more I will assume 5 drink bottles per day (soda, sport drink, bottle water, etc.) that is 35 bottles per week. Cost is ($ 0.85/gal and average $ 1.75 per bottle) $ 65.50 per week and that is $ 3,406 per year! Wow! But that is not all. How much would you estimate the cost of impacting the environment with all those empty bottles that will last for thousands of years? Add to that the amount of CO2 released into our atmosphere from manufacturing those plastic containers. Add to that the amount of oil used in the same manufacturing process. So the cost of drinking bottled beverages is beyond calculation. Not considering that sodas are not the best for your health and bottled water is not better than tap water.

Solution: get a water filter/ionizer that is capable of producing alkaline water. But before you invest in an expensive equipment like this do you research thoroughly. I do highly recommend the one I have for almost a month now. It is called Living Water by Vollara. This unit uses the latest technology in water ionization that was recently patented by the same person who invented the ionization process. Unlike all ionizers on the market that use 5 to 7 or more plates for ionization (the more plates the higher the power consumption and heat generated - therefore the unit have to be turned off for cooling),  Living Water by Vollara is using one single Direct Disk Ionization (DDI) that allows the unit to work continually and producing an average of 3.5L per minute of filtered alkaline water. This machine is virtually maintenance free. It self clean every 12 min, the two filters are good for 10,000L (more than 2,500 gal) and is water proof. Has several presets of different PH levels and also you can customize the PH to your needs and is much less expensive than other machines. Installation is just a matter of replacing the existing aerator with the supplied one. It cannot get any easier than that. You can purchase Living Water only through Vollara because they have the worldwide exclusivity on this technology.

Father's Day Best Gift Suggestion

Father's Day is approaching fast! So what will it be this year? Tools that are suggesting to do more work around the house and it will end up in the garage somewhere after a short while, maybe a new phone that will become obsolete in the next six months to a year. Clothing, toiletries, a new movie all done in the past. How about something new, something your dad will never ever expect and he will enjoy every day, day and night, wherever he goes, however he travels and he will be so thankful to you. Something that shows how much you care about him and his well-being.

I am suggesting a small pocket size portable air purifier that can be used virtually anywhere: car, truck (tractor trailer too), RV's, vans, hotel room, office, bedroom, living room, boat. We all know how polluted the air is and recent studies shows that indoor air pollution is 10 times greater than outside air. The reason is that outside air is cleaned every so often by nature itself through rain, lighting and thunderstorms. Inside air remain the same and what is worst it is recirculated by the air conditioner over and over again.

Fresh Air To Go
This small compact size portable air purifier is built with Active Pure Technology that eliminates odors and removes contaminants such as smoke, pollen and pet dander from the air and cover an area up to 500 sq.ft. It comes with a car adapter and also a DC adapter for use in office, hotel and at home.

The Fresh Air To Go provides the latest in air purification technology utilizing ActivePure Technology which combines high intensity UVC lighting with a propietary state-of-the-art filtering process. The same technology is used by NASA in space shuttle program and it is Certified Space Technology.

Some of the benefits include removing airborne contaminants and allergens thus reducing asthma and allergy symptoms, removes odor, dirt, germs and dust from the air and from surfaces producing a safe and healthy environment in otherwise stale-prone places. Featuring multiple settings to customize and optimize the usage of Fresh Air To Go for multiple environments ranging from a small car to large RV, hotel room or camper. This sleek, pocket-size air purifier provides the cleanest, freshest air possible for areas up to 500 sq.ft.

I think this is one of the greatest gifts of all time. Not that this is a hint for my kids, but honestly the chance that your father's friends and colleagues will get the same gift are very slim, unless you tell them about.

Happy Father's Day to all you fathers out there!

Home Biz -- Is it a fit for you?

Home business! What a marvelous idea! Staying at home, working whenever you want, taking time off anytime you want, going in vacation anytime you want ... wow! A dream come true! NOT! Having a home business is not what some people might think. It is hard work. Much harder than having a regular job and/or working for someone else.

There are a lots of pros and cons in regards of having your own home business. Considering starting your own business from the comfort of your home think of it this way: what you put in that's what you take out!

Another thing to consider is what are you good at. If you are not good at selling products or services, then this kind of business is not for you. If you are not good at talking to people, then don't do this kind of business. If you want to start your own home business, do your homework thoroughly. Yes, a home business can be very rewarding. You can make a lot of money, have all the time off you want and have the financial freedom. The most important thing is that might be a long and hard road to achieve that freedom you always want.

I have tried many things in my life, starting with Amway back in the 80's. Nothing worked for me until now. But now things are much different. I did my home work. Thoroughly! And I did a lot of research to find out not what is the best home based business but what business will best fit ME! One of the sites that gives a lot of information about home business is npros. If you looking for a home business you should start with npros. Then expand your search from there.

I choose a few companies that I wanted to take a closer look. I look at the products they are selling and analyze what kind of market niche those products will attract. Every company claim that they have no competition, products sell itself, you just collect the money. Sounds familiar? I'll be 60 years old next month, I have no job, send thousands of resumes and even though I have over 15 years experience in middle and upper management in retail and hospitality industry, I'm still out of luck. I have to do something.

I stumble upon some products that got my attention and then after some more research I was very impressed with what this company has to offer. All their products are backed by Universities studies, medical research, and they use same technology that NASA is using on the space shuttle. Can't go wrong with that, can you?

I choose Vollara.I found many articles that support Vollara as a strong and trusted company. I can tell you that compensation is excellent and I see myself piloting my own yacht paid by Vollara four years from now. I did not write this post to convince you that this is the best home business. Might not be for you but it is for me. Instead I would like very much to accept my invitation to take a look at Vollara's products that are designed to improve your life. They are designed for you to breathe clean air free of pollutants in your home, office, car or wherever you are. Drink so called Living Water, the kind of water nature intended for us to use in the beginning. Natural nutrients to keep your body in shape, enhance immune system, boost energy and have a healthy life. I am looking forward for your comments.

Living Water

We, Americans, drank over nine billions gallons of bottled water last year that's over 30 gallons per every woman, man and child in the country. We also spent over $ 23 billions on bottled water and researchers said we should be getting it free from our home faucets. What? Yes, many studies showed that most of bottled water is not better than city water. I am no scientist, nor doctor so I did a light research on water.

The Environmental Working Group tested 10 best-selling brands of bottled water for 170 contaminants and found different mixture of 38 contaminants, including bacteria, fertilizer, and industrial chemicals at levels similar to those allowed in tap water (read more...).
Who regulates the water quality? EPA is in charge with city water and they have some strict (not so strict in my opinion) rules about what and how much contaminants are allowed in tap water. Bottled water is under FDA administration with a different set of rules: ... bottle water rules allow some contamination by E.coli or fecal coliforms which indicate possible fecal matter contamination ... read more. You want more? Here it goes: ... FDA does not require bottled water to be tested for parasites such as cryptosporidium or giardia; the EPA does require this testing for tap water ... read more.

There is another bigger issue with the water, issue that goes untold (my personal opinion) for economic reasons. And this is the PH level of the water. The water we drink in any form (tap, bottled, sodas) has a low PH and the PH level is much lower in flavored water and sodas. Low PH leads to dehydration. Recent studies revealed that a PH of 7.36 is ideal for a homeostatis body. Less than that leads to dehydration. Let's look at some of the PH found:
  • Tap water 7.0
  • Purified water 5.5
  • Coffee/Tea 5.0
  • Tomato juice 4.0
  • Orange juice 3.5
  • Soda 3.0
What are the symptoms of dehydration? Thirsty! In 37% of Americans thirst is often mistaken for hunger! Mild dehydration can slow metabolism by as much as 3%. Dehydration is the leading cause of daytime fatigue. Dehydration can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, difficulty focusing. Certain migraines and headache are caused by dehydration.

What is the solution? Buy a good water conditioning unit. Do I have a recommendation? Of course! It is called Living Water by Vollara. Why I recommend this product? Here are some of the reasons:
  1. Adjustable PH from 2.0 - 11.0
  2. Two filter system (filter life to 10,000 L - about 2,700 gal) plus a reusable mineral port
  3. Easy to install on any faucet
  4. Self cleaning - virtual no maintenance
  5. Proprietary new DDI Ionization technology
  6. Antioxidant properties (this should be #1)
